HypeCity Cypher Sessions: Volume 1

HypeCity kicked off its premiere Cypher Sessions hip hop cypher with a slew of talented emcees from The tri-state area. Despite being the first cypher under the HypeCity banner, it ended up being one for the ages.

Lindenwold’s Yung Hass (@IamYungHass) led off the festivities, bringing the energy to the room spitting over the instrumental to Young M.A.’s Eat. Black Tuna Gang's Twin Towers, Money Carsin (@moneycarsin) and Funch the Camden Kid (@funch_the_camden_kid), handled their business, along with fellow Camden emcees OD LGE (@odlge), Jamaal La’Mont (@maalymont), and Stripes (@stripes228). Khalil Slaughter (@KhalilSlaughter) from Delco, PA and Pennsauken’s Kay Lyles (@og_kaylyles) put on memorable performances, and newcomer Eli Seeney (@EliSeeney) delivered a strong candidate for Line of the Night. Mike Voss (@vosstherapper), the acclaimed rap battle champion, sent a strong statement to close the show.
