Cudi vs. Diddy: Rapper Recounts Terrifying Porsche Attack and Love for Cassie

By Pharron Fields

Rapper and actor Kid Cudi took the witness in Sean "Diddy"s' continuing sex trafficking trial and made shocking admissions regarding his relationship to Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, in a dramatic turn of events. Cudi acknowledged under oath that he had formerly been in love with Cassie and that soon after Diddy found out about their connection, his Porsche was firebombed.

Cudi claims that his expensive car was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail during the incident in 2012. Cudi responded calmly but sharply when he saw the burned remnants of the vehicle in courtroom photos: "What the f**k?" Without hesitation, he said, "Yes," when asked if he believed the act was purposeful.

The image captures a pivotal moment amid his testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-profile sex trafficking trial, where Cudi revealed details about his past relationship with Cassie and the firebombing of his Porsche.

Cudi continued by narrating a terrifying follow-up encounter with Diddy at New York's Soho House. He asserts that his management and Diddy's assistant D-Roc set up the meeting with the goal of resolving the conflict. However, Cudi experienced a bizarre exchange: Cudi remarked, "He stood there like a Marvel supervillain." "He offered me water twice and said, 'You know that's my girl.'"

Diddy apparently acted dumb when Cudi addressed him directly about his vehicle, saying, "I don't know what you're talking about." Cudi didn't trust him back then, and she doesn't today.

Additionally, Cudi testified under re-direct that Cassie informed him that Diddy would occasionally kick and beat her. Cudi stated during cross-examination, nonetheless, that Cassie never brought up sexual abuse with him. Nevertheless, his testimony's emotional impact—which included his acknowledgement that he genuinely loved Cassie—painted a striking image.

A few years later, the two men met together at the same spot in Soho House. Diddy's casual apology, "I'm just sorry for all that bulls**t," was recounted by Cudi.

Kid Cudi's evidence during the trial gives the case a very intimate and unnerving dimension. In addition to confirming doubts over Diddy's purported aggressive inclinations, his disclosures shed insight on the psychological anguish experienced by those entangled in the mogul's web.
