Dave Chappelle Attacked At The Hollywood Bowl

Dave Chappelle appeared to be attacked on stage by a man who attempted to tackle the comedian to the ground.

The comic, 48, was performing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening as part of the Netflix Is A Joke festival, when the incident reportedly happened towards the end of the stand-up show.

Videos circulating on social media show Chappelle standing on stage as a man suddenly rushes him from the side.

Another clip allegedly shows the man being detained by security guards at the venue.

Chapppelle appeared to continue with the show and later told the audience: ‘I don’t know if that was part of the show or… I grabbed the back of that n****s head, his neck was spongy.’
