Last Wednesday night, a man in Oregon made headlines for throwing roughly $200,000 in cash out of a speeding car on the Interstate 5 freeway in Eugene. According to www.kezi.com the money belonged to the man and his family, and he reportedly drained their shared bank account before letting it fly along the freeway.
The incident caused quite a scene, with people stopping on the sides of the freeway to comb through the cash in hopes of finding some for themselves. However, according to the Oregon State Police, all the money has been picked up and is now gone. "They were unsuccessful at locating any so the people that originally stopped on scene did a pretty good job of cleaning it all up," said Lt. Jim Andrews.
