"No Reruns for Tory Lanez: Denied a New Trial, What's Next?"

Hey there! Buckle up, because we're diving headfirst into the latest legal drama surrounding rapper tory-lanez. In a plot twist straight out of a courtroom drama, LA Superior Court Judge Herriford slammed the gavel on Lanez's hopes for a new trial. Lanez, or Daystar Peterson as his mama named him, was found guilty on three felony charges after shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet. Ouch! Lanez's defense squad was hoping to ditch some evidence they thought was wrongfully included in the trial, but Judge Herriford wasn't having it. He said, "Nah, even without that evidence, the verdict wouldn't have changed." Now, Lanez is staring down the barrel of some serious consequences. He's been convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle (whoops), and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. That's a potential 22-year vacation in prison and a one-way ticket back to his homeland, Canada. During a hearing, Lanez tried to appeal to Herriford's softer side, saying, "I could be your son. I could be your brother.” Next up, his lawyers plan to appeal to a higher court, even though those types of motions rarely score a win. So, stay tuned, folks. The Tory Lanez saga is far from over!
