Rod Wave Arrested on Multiple Charges Amid Allegations Involving Girlfriend Mini Barbie

Rapper Rod Wave (actual name Rodarius Marcell Green) was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia, on May 20, 2025, on 14 charges related to an incident that occurred on April 21. Aggravated assault, pointing a pistol at someone else, possessing a handgun while committing a felony, criminal damage to property, reckless behavior, and evidence tampering are among the allegations.

According to social media speculations, he fired shots at Mini Barbie's car, implying that the event involved his girlfriend. Mini Barbie's true name is Nari Nicole White. Official publications haven't verified these details, though. Rod Wave is innocent, according to his lawyers, who claim he was a burglary victim and did nothing wrong. They assert that the accusations are unfounded and will be settled in his favor.

Rod Wave's past legal troubles are further compounded by this arrest. He was arrested on a firearm charge in 2024, which was likewise dropped after it was established that he was not a convicted criminal, and he was charged with battery in 2022, which was later dropped.

On the same day that Rod Wave was arrested, he was freed on bond. The inquiry is still on, and no court dates have been set as of yet.
