Friday night football is heating up across South Jersey as teams fight to keep their championship dreams alive in the NJSIAA state playoffs.

From undefeated programs defending their home fields to underdogs looking to pull off another upset, November 6 brings a loaded schedule of postseason matchups.

Timber Creek Looks to Upset Top-Seeded Seneca

One of the night's biggest matchups features Timber Creek (8–2) traveling to face top-seeded Seneca (7–3) in the South Jersey Group 3 semifinals.

Timber Creek enters following a hard-fought 28–25 victory over Delran, while Seneca is coming off a commanding 35–0 shutout of Ewing.

Burlington Township and Deptford Battle for a Championship Spot

Burlington Township (5–5) heads to Deptford (8–2) for a Central Jersey Group 3 semifinal with a trip to the sectional championship on the line.

One player to watch is Burlington Township standout running back Aiden Binns (#21), a key offensive weapon for the Falcons. Binns gives Burlington Township a playmaker in the backfield as the team looks to keep its postseason run alive.

Deptford enters with momentum after upsetting top-seeded Hopewell Valley 14–10, while Burlington Township secured its semifinal appearance with a convincing 26–7 road victory over Brick Township.

With both programs fighting for a spot in the sectional final, Friday night’s matchup promises plenty of intensity.

Kickoff: Friday, November 6, at 6 p.m. — Deptford High School.

Washington Township (10–0) puts its undefeated season on the line Friday night against Eastern (5–5) in the South Jersey Group 5 semifinals.

Leading the charge is the dynamic connection between quarterback Jalen Parker and wide receiver Isaac Parra, one of the most explosive passing combinations in New Jersey high school football.

Parker and Parra have become a dangerous offensive pairing, giving opposing defenses plenty to worry about whenever Washington Township takes the field.

With a perfect season and a trip to the sectional championship on the line, the Minutemen will look to their playmakers to deliver another big performance under the Friday night lights.
