An arrest has been made in the vicious beatdown and robbery of a woman outside a Harlem liquor store, police said Monday.
Tyrone Cooper, 22, was nabbed in Brooklyn Sunday during an unrelated domestic incident, NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison tweeted.
Police said Cooper beat his 20-year-old girlfriend inside her East Flatbush apartment, hitting her in the face and choking her. The woman also told police he had previously busted her jaw.
Cooper will also be charged in the Harlem assault.
The Jan. 18 attack involved four men and two women. The suspects were caught on camera attacking the 31-year-old victim after she refused the sexual overtures from two of the men moments earlier in a liquor store on W. 128th St. near St. Nicholas Ave.
